O·NUS IS A CRITICAL DISSECTION, A CASE STUDY OF THE MODERN FEMALE PSYCHE. AN ARTISTIC SHORT FILM SHOWING THE CONTRADICTIONS WITHIN A HUMAN BEING, SPECIFICALLY THE INNER CONFLICTS THAT A WOMAN MAY BE CONFRONTED WITH IN THE 21ST CENTURY. THIS PIECE HIGHLIGHTS THE CO-DEPENDENT AND POSSIBLY DISTRESSFUL INTERPLAY BETWEEN CHARACTERISTICS SUCH AS: WEAKNESS VS. STRENGTH; TENDERNESS VS. HARDNESS; COMPLIANCE VS. DOMINATION; AND LASTLY THE INCORPORATION OF ALL OF THIS IN ANIMA VS. ANIMUS. A PORTRAIT OF THE TORN WOMAN BEING BLESSED WITH OPPORTUNITIES YET TROUBLED WITH IDENTIFICATION.

 

O·NUS

O·NUS is a critical dissection, a case study of the modern female psyche. An artistic short film showing the contradictions within a human being, specifically the inner conflicts that a woman may be confronted with in the 21st century. This piece highlights the co-dependent and possibly distressful interplay between characteristics such as: weakness vs. strength; tenderness vs. hardness; compliance vs. domination; and lastly the incorporation of all of this in anima vs. animus. A portrait of the torn woman being blessed with opportunities yet troubled with identification.
